Framed In Foyer
Taken from the balcony on the second floor, you can see the framing in the Foyer and the pretty front door to the house. The steps are at the left and tha't Matt's room you see through the studs. On the first floor, the double window opening is the dining room. Still a long way to go. Note the date: October 26. Don't think they will be done before Christmas.
This shot is a good picture of the front door. It shows the oval cut-glass "lite" with bright brass "caming". No I dodn't mis-spell it. The brass metal channel that holds the pieces of glass in place really is spelled C-A-M-I-N-G. It is apparently pronounced, "kay-ming". This shot shows the landing for the stairs and the rough opening for the dining room window
