| Shingles Go On |
| Well, they put the shingles on. Now the interior won't keep getting wet. It's really dirty inside with lots of nails and pieces of wood strewn all over. They corrected the roof pitch on the back side before the shingles went on. The upper foyer window and two side upstairs windows had to be resized. The electric meter panel is feeding TWO 200A service panels. They are setting up for a heat pump, I'm sure. They brought in 20+ loads of "topsoil" to fill in around the house. Its soft like garden soil but full of roots. We'll see how it is after the first rain. It can't be seen, but they are apparently planning to put this structural stuff called "Energy Brace" accross the front of the garage and also the inside of the garage. |
