| They're placing the second floor joists. Notice the "Silent Floor" branding. Well, we'll see. There are areas that already squeak. Notice the date, August 19. Once the hot weather broke for a couple of days they flew. Note the dates in the next photos. The view is from the kitchen area just about where the island will be. The large beam is the center beam over the family room entrance. The underside of the beam is at the same height as our ceilings are now 7' 6". |
