Waterproofing? |
I was told that a new waterproofing compound was applied to the exterior walls. Supposedly it is a very light green when applied, soaks in to the cement and then "bonds" with it to become a clear sealant. Well, I squirted water on the wall and guess what? All of it soaked in. Of course it could be that it doesn't soak in very far. I'll keep this picture in case we have moisture problems. The black spots is where they sealed over the places where steel tabs were broken off. The tabs attach to "keepers" that hold the forms together so they don't bow out from the weight of the concrete. |
