Garage Slab Looking East

I'm again standing on the dirt that will be the porch slab. Looking toward the side of the lot, you can see the entire slab for the 3-car garage.  It is about 31 feet wide.  A bit small for this size house, but still within normal limits for a 3-car garage.  I will be using the third bay for a workshop, for woodworking as well as storing all my tools.  Since we'll be a traget for break-ins, being at the end of a cul-de-sac and very wooded, I plan to have CATV cameras in two places in the garage, as well as door sensors.

The cement in the garage was poured pretty well.  The lally column goes in the pocket that can barely be seen. The ramps have a step in them instead of a ramp like we have now.  I suppose it's better in keeping heavy rain out, but harder to get the jack and roll-out equipment in and out.  I'll make a small drop-in ramp.
