| Here is a view of the almost completed stairs with all the ballusters in place. Is there a style to this type of staircase? In looking at the Internet, I found the "bullnose" tread and the fancy work under the treads in pictures of Republic,Queen Anne, Victorian and several other styles. We'll call it Victorian since that style matches the fireplace and light fixtures. The picture was taken from the Living room with mainly hall lights. At the top you can see the still wrapped chandelier. We're both eager to see what the complete Foyer will look like with it unwrapped. Unfortunately, it won't happen till next week.
