| This snow started on Friday night through Saturday with a lull Saturday afternoon. We got about 6 inches of new stuff by Saturday evening. Then the southern snow storm hit! We went out Sunday morning and shoveled the sidewalk and dug out the cars. Matt was at some Animae convention in Alexandria and decided to come back. Matt Carper couldn't get home so he stayed overnight -Sunday. When I wnt to bed on Sunday there was about 15 inches on the deck. Monday morning, Feb. 17, there was 20 inches and it had drifted. In addition, we got about 1/2 inch of fine sleet on the top to form a soft crust. There's over 1 foot of new snow in the sidewalk ditch. |
