This is a picture of the first dual message Parrot™ messaging switchplate PC board.  It was designed to fit exactly into the original plastic housing.  Therefore, the mounting holes, switch locations and LED locations correspond to the original.  This board includes three more ICs than the original, plus twice the number of discretes and additional tracking for the programming connector and an extra LED.  The board was designed and laid out in about a week of evenings, in time to be presented at a show the customer attended. During the layout, the circuit changed as debugging was being done.
