PC Designs received a request to develop a small, inexpensive timer use in a special project. Six units were designed, built, and delivered. The unit is microprocessor based and uses a backlit LCD display. A battery sensing circuit turns off the backlight if the external power supply is removed or power fails. The embedded MC68HC11 microprocessor was programmed in assembly code and therefore needed no external memory. This allowed the the cost to be kept low. This unit can be modified for a variety of uses and is available for purchase. Please request information by clicking the mailbox at the left or on the link below.
