This is a picture of the assembled system that was delivered to the customer. Not shown is the AIO module, described elsewhere, which fits between the lower and upper cards, and would protrude from the far side. The lower board is the PC104C31 board, containing a Texas Instruments TMS320C31 Digital Signal Processor. The 5 volt to 3.3 volt power supply designed by PC Designs is mounted on the lower board. It is used to supply proper voltage to the five FPGAs.
The upper board is the Telephony interface board. It contains a Conexant Socket Modem and a 4-wire E&M interface, designed by PC Designs. Control signals are derived from an FPGA on the DSP board. The telephony board is based on the PC/104 format.
